We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address and messages. We may also collect technical and usage information such as device type, browser, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, referral source and interactions with the website. Search details such as destinations, dates and traveller numbers may also be processed to provide search functionality.
We may use information to operate and improve Veryaro, respond to enquiries, provide requested features, understand website performance, prevent misuse, maintain security and comply with legal obligations.
Veryaro may use cookies or similar technologies for essential website functions, analytics and affiliate attribution. Third-party travel partners may use their own cookies or tracking when you follow a link to their services. Their privacy policies apply to information they collect.
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyse or operate the website, and where required by law. When you leave Veryaro for a travel partner, information you provide to that partner is handled under the partner’s own terms and privacy policy.
Some technology providers we use may process or store information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and appropriate safeguards, but internet services cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You can contact us to ask about personal information we hold about you, request correction, or raise a privacy concern. Email ersin@veryaro.com. We may update this policy as Veryaro develops, and the current version will be published on this page.
For optional giveaways, Quizrank, trading through VERYARO (ABN 16 861 703 434), collects full name and email address solely to administer the giveaway and contact winners. This includes validating entries, preventing duplicate entries and administering prize claims. Entry does not subscribe you to marketing communications and is not marketing consent. Questionnaire answers are not giveaway entry fields and are not sent with the entry or copied to the giveaway spreadsheet. Skipping the giveaway does not affect your holiday recommendations.
Supabase is the authoritative entry store. Accepted entries are copied to the private VERYARO Giveaway Entries Google Sheet with system-generated entry and competition identifiers, creation time and acceptance status. Access is limited to authorised administrators and necessary service providers; entrant records are not publicly listed. Vercel hosts the backend, Cloudflare Turnstile provides bot protection, and Upstash Redis supports rate limiting and reliable Sheet copying. Hosting and bot-protection providers may process technical request information. Redis stores short-lived hashed rate identifiers and permanent entry-ID-to-row mappings, not entrant names or email addresses.
Giveaway records are retained for as long as reasonably needed for administration, maintaining competition records, winner contact and outstanding prize claims, resolving enquiries or disputes, and applicable legal obligations. No fixed retention period is specified. A deletion request can be made to ersin@veryaro.com. Deletion is subject to any ongoing administration or legal need to retain information and must address both Supabase and the private Google Sheet, together with relevant backup and technical records. The system does not automatically delete entries when the competition closes.
Our hosting, security, database and Google service providers may process information outside Australia. We do not represent that all giveaway information stays in Australia. Giveaway information is shared with these providers for administration, storage and security, rather than for enrolling entrants in marketing.
Contact ersin@veryaro.com to request access to or correction of your giveaway information, request deletion, ask about its handling or raise a privacy complaint. Include enough information to identify your entry. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing personal information.
